July 20th 2007. Unified owner David Nirenberg announced finalization of the purchase of a state-of-the-art software system to manage the company's new distribution facility in Newport Tennessee.
The popular system used by many well known companies will replace the current ERP, and includes; Automated EDI, Customer Relation Manager, Advanced Order Management, Warehouse Location Management, RF Order Picking, Forecasting, Landed Cost and much more.
"This is the latest of a multi-phase plan to take this company to the next level by increasing productivity and efficiency." said CEO David Nirenberg.
In the past 18 months, Unified has relocated from Naples Florida to Newport, Tennessee, purchased and remodeled a 40,000 square foot warehouse on 37 acres and built a 5,000 square foot office building.
