New Tennessee and Florida facilities Open May 22

Naples, FL - Newport, TN May 8, 2006 Unified Marine's new 40,000 square foot distribution center and office building in Newport Tennessee are set to go live on May 22nd 2006.

Why are we moving?

• Florida is a lot different from 22 years ago when we started. Continued growth over the last several years has required us to find a larger Distribution Center

• The cost of property in Florida continues to escalate and has become prohibitive.

• Insurance costs have seen major increases in Florida due too the hurricanes.

• Forecasters have predicted Florida will continue to have above normal hurricane seasons over the next 10 years.

Why move now?

• Availability, we were successful in finding a facility that meets our growing needs.

• The new DC will accommodate higher volume of merchandise for current and future business commitments.

• Hurricane season is fast approaching. Unified Marine can not afford to gamble that we will remain untouched.

Why Newport, TN.

• Newport offers a centralized shipping point to reduce lead times and help control shipping costs. (over 75% of the US population is within one days shipping)

• Affordable property with room for growth.

• Newport TN. provides us a large pool of reliable work force and affordable housing.

What does this mean to our customers?

• Upgrades to new and better technology systems that will create faster and more accurate shipping.

• Space allows us to continue to grow.

In closing we feel this move will help us reduce our overheads that will offset some of the increases involved in raw materials, labor, insurance and freight costs.
