Hurricane Wilma Hits Naples

Naples, Florida Oct 26, 2005 Unified Marine, Inc. of Naples Florida was back in full operation only one day after a severe lashing from a category 3 Hurricane Wilma. Unified's main Naples facility received only minimal damage. The Ft. Myers auxiliary warehouse damage was more significant but not catastrophic.

Unified's employees also weathered the storm well. Most had little or no damage to homes or personal property with three exceptions. Unified's CEO David Nirenberg received wind damage to both boat and home, and two employees suffered significant roof damage.
Although many employees are still living without power, Unified's offices and main warehouse is fully functional and staffed with a cheerful, resiliant, and "business as usual" attitude.
